Cala Macarella & Macarelleta

Cala Macarelleta
Cala Macarelleta is situated just near Cala Macarella at the south of the island.
White cliffs and crystal clear, turqoise water, fine, golden sands in a tiny cove and a larger sweep on the opposite bank.
These well known southern coast coves are, thanks to their natural characteristics, the most highly appreciated by the beach visitors of the island. Their transparent waters are unforgettable. We can admire the cliffs on the surroundings and dazzled by the presence of prehistoric caves.
The only man-made feature at your disposal here is a bar-restaurant, concealed in the pine woods of the larger beach.
We can reach these idyllic coves by following the country road which leads to Sant Joan de Missa from Ciutadella. Or we can also get there through a path at Cala Galdana, round 30 minutes walk.
