The Escorxada beach is isolated from any urban center.

Cala Escorxada is one of the quietest coves in the island. It has fine white sand and turquoise water as characterize the south coast of Menorca.

The cove is located within the Natural Area of ​​Special Interest Me-13 (ANEI-Me-13) that goes from Binigaus to Cala Mitjana.

The access to Cala Escorxada is quite complicated. You can walk from the Cala Mitjana or St. Tomas car park or from Migjorn Gran passing the “Cova des Coloms”.

You will have to walk more than 40 minutes from all the above points.

Es una playa de difícil acceso y aislada de cualquier núcleo urbano.

Esta playa es una de las más tranquilas, con arena fina y blanca y las clásicas aguas color turquesa que caracterizan toda la costa sur de Menorca.

La cala se encuentra dentro del Área Natural de Especial Interés Me-13 (ANEI-Me-13) que abarca desde Binigaus hasta Cala Mitjana.

El acceso a Cala Escorxada es bastante complicado. Se puede acceder a pie dejando el coche en el parking de Cala Mitjana, Santo Tomas o en es Migjorn Gran cuyo acceso seria pasando por Cova des Coloms. Una vez en el parking, es necesario caminar más de 40 minutos desde todos los puntos mencionados.

Sa Bassa Verda and Algaiarens beaches

Sa Bassa Verda

A few kilometers from La Vall d’Algaiarens beach, hidden on top of a hill, is a beautiful natural reserve of great beauty and a breathtaking place known as “Sa Bassa Verda”. This lagoon is named after the green color of its water, is a magnificent tour proposal for autumn, winter and early spring, because when the heat starts the lake begins to dry. You can get there by bicycle from a Ciudadela route or walking from La Vall d´Algaiarens car park.

Algairens Beach

A peculiarity of La Vall d’Algaiarens beach,  is that it appears in the famous Estrella Damm 2010 TV advert.

The beach is divided in two zones, the closest to the car park is Es Tancats beach and the farthest one is Es Bot beach.

Sa Bassa Verda y Playas d´Algaiarens

A pocos kilómetros de la playa de la playa de La Vall d´Algaiarens, oculto en lo alto de un monte, se encuentra un hermoso reducto natural de gran belleza y un paraje impresionante conocido por el nombre de “Sa bassa verda“. Esta laguna que debe su nombre al color verde característico de su agua, es una magnífica propuesta de excursión para el otoño, invierno y principio de primavera, ya que una vez llega el calor empieza a secarse. Se puede realizar la excursion en bicicleta por una ruta desde Ciutadella, o a pie dejando el coche en el parking de la Vall d´Algaiarens.

La Vall d´Algaiarens

Una de las peculiaridades de la playa de La Vall d´Algaiarens es que aparece en el famoso anuncio de Estrella Damm del año 2010.

Esta playa se divide en dos zonas, la mas cercana al parking Playa des Tancats y la mas alejada Playa des Bot.
